Dear CVLL Family,
We hope this update finds you and your family healthy and well. As you know, last season we made the difficult decision to put the safety and well-being of our members and extended community as our top priority, which resulted in suspending the Season. While Santa Barbara County is still in the “purple tier,” we have submitted a proposal to run a 2021 Season from April 15 to June 19. Although this is tentative, we remain very hopeful that with consistent community support and good health, we can make it a reality!!!
The CVLL Board continues to anticipate and work diligently whereas we are prepared to start at a moment’s notice. As always, our top priority is participant welfare and well-being as we strive to put into place every measure to keep our players and community protected. As we prepare for the upcoming 2021 Season, you can help by completing our participation Questionnaire by (or before) MARCH 31st. We are confident that if we continue to remain “Carp Strong”, we can provide a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding Season for players, families, and community. Please take a moment and complete the Questionnaire BELOW by MARCH 31st. As President of CVLL, I welcome and encourage any comments or concerns you may like to share.
In brief, please join our entire CVLL Board and Carpinteria community in celebrating the contributions that have been made to CVLL by former Co-President Tina Contreras. Sadly, Tina will be leaving us to pursue career and life opportunities out of the area. We thank her for her tireless efforts, decades of community service, and answering the call to service-leadership at the highest level within our community.
Until we reunite, stay safe, wear your masks, keep the faith, and get ready to PLAY BALL!
